David Duke 29/04/1952 - 26/01/2009.
It is with great sadness that we have to report that David, a previous Vice Chairman of the Chamber and a very, very active member who was also on various ECSA committees passed away suddenly on Monday 26th January 2009.
He leaves his wife Lynn and daughters Michelle and Roswyn.
David who was registered as both a Technicain and as a Technologist initiated and finalised the ECSA accreditation policy for the Universities of Technology some years back. He was highly involved in the recognition of technicians and was the ECSA representative that led the team to sign the Dublin Accord for Technicians in Ireland a few years ago.
He was an ardent Christian active in his church and will be sorely missed by all.
A Memorial service was held at the Weltevreden Chapel, John Vorster Road, Weltevreden Park Randburg South Africa at 14H00 on 30 January 2009.
